Ben & Jerry’s were the founding partners of the UP Collective in 2017. The programme is a key part of the social justice mission in Europe, providing funding & placements to enable newcomers to shape their own futures.

TERN founded UP Collective in 2017 alongside Ben & Jerry's. TERN delivers UP Collective in London. TERN also manages the international collaboration around UP Collective with close collaborators Delitelabs, PLACE and Caritas. TERN also co-leads on international fundraising and innovation projects for UP Collective.
Ben & Jerry's and TERN are proud to have founded UP Collective in 2017, but even prouder of the wonderful partners who have since joined us in the UP Collective family. Today, UP Collective is more inviting than ever and welcomes other businesses and organisations to join the UP Collective partner group to make the programme better than ever for the next generation & alumni newcomer entrepreneurs.

There’s so much more we can do to support and empower refugees when we work together.
The UP Collective always looks to partner with new organisations to make UP Collective better and better, and to increase its reach and impact. Partners can come on board to:

hire or contract participants and graduates;

scouting graduates and their business for their incubator programme and startup finance;

delivering up the UP Collective programme in a new city;

funding UP Collective to grow and go to new cities and communities.

Comic Relief have been match funding the London cohort since 2020, helping expand the cohort and depend the quality of business support available to participants.

As the catering partner of ZSL, Benugo have been providing summers placements for UP Collective participants in London for the last 5 years.

TERN co-founded the programme in 2017. Alongside training other partners with the programme content, they have been delivering the programme in London ever since reaching 168 participants so far..

Caritas Salford become the second delivery partner in the UK in 2021, launching the programme in Manchester. They have now delivered two editions of the UP Collective to a total of 30 entrepreneurs.
